I found this podcast interview informative from an intellectual point of view. It sensibly canvasses the place of shamanism in our world, past and present.

How Trance States Shape the World

A friend sent this podcast to me and I was so grateful. I feel it encompasses the human need to be actively cconnected to the unseen so well.

Travels in the Next Dimension

This YouTube video was very helpful to me in the early days of my shamanic practice, particularly the last piece about the gathering of shaman and the healing that took place there. I was also fascinated by the practice of the Indonesian healer.

Mongolian Shaman Reunites Dead Boy with his Mother

I have alsways liked this video. It represents for me the street level nature of shamanic practice. A practice that is there to help the local community in their day to day lives. I believe shamanism should be accessible like this and that it is not a higher level spiritual practice but belongs in the stream of the everyday world.
